ABOUT ME
I graduated with a master’s degree in Social Science (Counselling) from the University of Hong Kong in 2022. I am a former committee member of Special Needs Network Hong Kong and a current committee member of The Association of Parents of the Severely Mentally Handicapped.

I am passionate about improving the care of children with complex healthcare needs (epilepsy, cerebral palsy, rare genetic diseases, etc.) and support for their families (parents, grandparents, siblings and other caregivers). I also have an amateur interest in disability studies and disability representation.
My own experience as a parent of a disabled child allowed me to deepen my understanding of family carers on an ongoing basis. I also heard from parents of children with disabilities and/or chronic medical conditions that it is often not easy to find therapists who understand the specific stressors and trauma associated with being the parent of a disabled or sick child. I believe my lived experience will allow me to walk with my clients and make their difficult life a little easier.

I work in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
